What We Do...
Wireless Bypass, Inc. designs, develops, and manufactures digital and analog Wireless Plant Extensions
for terrestrial point-to-point and point-to-multipoint applications. Extensive research and development efforts underscore unique transmission methods
for node addition solutions at breakthrough price-per-port levels, available in both licensed and unlicensed versions. Two-hundred cumulative years of microwave
radio design and manufacturing experience, and the benefit of a 45,000 sq. ft. modern manufacturing facility situated Wireless Bypass as the leader in
Wireless Plant Extension Technology;. |
The Emergence of Wireless Plant Extension Technology
Traditionally, the CATV industry has used
wireless in many areas for distribution of video services using AML radio over difficult terrain, and is now decommissioning much of its wireless
in favor of fiber overbuilds to increase bandwidth capabilities, offer bi-directional enhanced services, and insure a solid infrastructure upon which
to be a dominant service provider. These services include television, telephone, & high speed Internet, among others. Concurrently, a new service
market of high-speed Internet and data services is emerging where access is limited by geographical limitation, as well as high Price-per-Port and low
bandwidth serviced by Telco and Satellite incumbents. This new area of Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) is poised to gain high-speed data service
market share ranging from 10B to 40B in the next five years. Wireless Bypass' Wireless Plant Extensions are DOCSIS compliant enabling the CATV industry
to access the BWA market utilizing existing infrastructure. |
Products and Technology
Wireless Bypass has developed products and technology geared specifically towards enabling the CATV industry access to BWA markets. Our Wireless Plant Extension
products, which include Point-to-Point, and Point-to-Multipoint applications, operate in both licensed and unlicensed frequency bands, with channelization plans
recognized worldwide and Price-per-Port rivaling BWA costs. The patent-pending technology demonstrated in these products can be migrated into even lower
cost products in other market segments. A line of modern AML products used for broadband video and data delivery was acquired during the inception of Wireless Bypass.
Services offered by Wireless Bypass include wireless network design and implementation, training, as well as OEM equipment sales and integration. |
Progress Toward the Future
Wireless Bypass is committed to increasing the breadth of product offerings with proliferation spanning frequency, licensing options, deployment versatility, and modulation technology.
These development plans are a balance of both market and engineering opportunity driven philosophies. |
